• • The Estimator – Commercial & Specialty Roofing role at Stronghouse Inc. is critical to turning project visions into build-ready plans by producing accurate, detailed cost estimates that ensure profitable execution and alignment with company standards. This role directly supports the company’s mission to protect homes and families by ensuring roofing projects are bid correctly and delivered reliably.
• • Day to day, the estimator will participate in Pre-Project Planning sessions to review scope, risks, and project details; develop accurate estimates including takeoffs, labor, materials, equipment, and risk factors; obtain and confirm pricing from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors; revise estimates as scope evolves; support proposal development and insurance documentation using Xactimate when needed; prepare organized estimate documentation for handoff to Production; and communicate regularly with Sales, Production, Project Managers, and leadership while tracking estimate progress and maintaining organized files.
