📋 Description

• The Estimator Concrete role is critical to the company's profitability, as accurate estimating directly impacts project financial outcomes and the ability to win commercial and public works contracts in the U.S. construction market.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and civil plans using Bluebeam, reviewing project specifications and bid requirements, managing the full bid solicitation and submission process across platforms like Procore and Building Connected, tracking bid invitations, developing cost estimates for concrete and excavation scopes, supporting post-award workflows such as subcontractor coordination and submittals, and collaborating with field staff on project feasibility and constructability.
• The company is a commercial and public works construction firm based in Oregon, specializing in light civil projects with a focus on concrete and excavation work, pursuing large-scale projects with a reputation for quality and professional operations.
• In this role, the estimator will develop expertise in U.S. construction estimating practices, gain experience with industry-standard bidding platforms, improve technical plan interpretation skills, and contribute directly to project wins and company growth while working remotely with a U.S.-based contractor.
