We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven EU Affiliate Manager to join our dynamic Growth Marketing team and play a pivotal role in scaling our affiliate program across Europe.
• • In this exciting role, you will report directly to the Global Affiliate Lead and be instrumental in driving user and revenue growth for Kraken's suite of products within the European market. You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and nurturing relationships with key affiliates and influencers across the EU, ensuring the expansion of our affiliate campaigns aligns with our ambitious growth targets. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly influence the strategy and direction of our affiliate channel, with a projected 3X growth for our EU program over the next 12-24 months.
• • Your core responsibilities will involve a deep dive into performance data to uncover opportunities for optimization and to provide regular, insightful performance updates to stakeholders. You will meticulously monitor affiliate content to ensure strict adherence to regional and product-specific compliance regulations, a critical aspect of operating within the highly regulated financial and crypto space.
• • A key part of your role will be to conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of tests, including placement, commission structures, incentive programs, and creative assets, all aimed at enhancing key program metrics and maximizing return on investment. You will develop and own ambitious revenue and new trader acquisition goals for the European affiliate program, directly contributing to Kraken's overall business objectives.
• • Collaboration will be essential. You will work closely with EU regional growth teams to ensure seamless alignment on go-to-market strategies and localized campaign initiatives. Furthermore, you will partner with product marketing, compliance, and analytics teams to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to affiliate marketing across all product lines and regions.
• • This role demands a proactive and autonomous approach, as you will be expected to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The dynamic nature of the cryptocurrency industry requires adaptability and a keen understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes. You will be a key contributor to a growing team, shaping the future of affiliate marketing at Kraken.
• • The ideal candidate will possess a genuine personal interest in crypto and blockchain technology, coupled with a proven track record in affiliate or KOL marketing, preferably within the traditional finance or crypto sectors. Experience working with affiliates specifically within the EU is a mandatory requirement, and prior global team experience is highly preferred.
• • You will leverage your exceptional data analysis skills to interpret performance KPIs such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). Your ability to negotiate placements, payout structures, and terms with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) will be crucial for building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
• • Creativity and persistence will be vital as you pursue unconventional partnerships and innovative campaign ideas. You should be comfortable working in cross-functional teams and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in an asynchronous work environment, which is standard for a fully remote company like Kraken.
