  • • The Event Coordinator - Event Technology (CVENT) - Associate role at iCapital Network LLC is a junior-level position based in Lisbon, Portugal, focused on owning the digital backbone of global events through hands-on management of Cvent and related event technologies. This role is critical to ensuring seamless attendee experiences across high-profile client events, conferences, and internal programs by managing registrations, communications, data integrity, and onsite support.
  • • You will work closely with U.S.-based event leads and support a dynamic global event calendar, acting as the technical linchpin that enables marketing, events, compliance, and legal teams to deliver polished, compliant, and engaging experiences.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing event technology execution across global events using Cvent; building and maintaining event registration sites, agendas, forms, and automated workflows; creating and deploying event invitations, confirmations, reminders, and post-event communications; managing attendee data, ensuring list accuracy, and generating reports across multiple concurrent events; supporting onsite registration setup, badge printing, and real-time troubleshooting during events; maintaining event calendars, timelines, and technology documentation for audit and reference; partnering with internal teams (Marketing, Events, Compliance, Legal) to ensure content accuracy and timely approvals; and supporting integrations with other tools while applying best practices for data hygiene and reporting.
  • • The Events team at iCapital is a collaborative, high-performing global unit that values innovation, precision, and proactive problem-solving. You’ll join a team that operates with a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in Lisbon, supporting U.S.- and global-facing events, which requires flexibility with hours and occasional onsite or weekend support during peak periods.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in event technology platforms—particularly Cvent—while gaining end-to-end exposure to global event operations in a fast-paced fintech environment. You’ll develop strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and data management skills, positioning yourself for growth into senior event technology or event operations roles within iCapital’s expanding global events function.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5 years of experience in event technology and attendee management
  • • Hands-on experience with registration website platforms such as Cvent
  • • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office – specifically with Excel (i.e., comfortable with VLOOKUP function) and PowerPoint
  • • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing large datasets and registrations
  • • Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels
  • • Comfortable supporting multiple events simultaneously across time zones
