- • Work closely with the wider sales organisation to increase client awareness of Perk’s new MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) offering and drive volume of opportunities, particularly in collaboration with Account Management (AM) teams.
- • Manage predominantly smaller-scale projects and mid-yielding opportunities, with a primary focus on supporting long-tail and SMB accounts globally.
- • Prepare and submit Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for a global portfolio of customers, managing the full process from proposal creation through negotiation of terms and conditions.
- • Coordinate operational logistics with cross-functional Perk teams based on customer requirements, including oversight of event setup and service delivery.
- • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls and email inquiries from existing and potential customers regarding event and group travel needs.
- • Support sales conversations alongside Sales Engineers (SEs) and Enterprise Sales Engineers (ESEs) to conduct discovery and help prospects understand Perk’s services.
- • Provide tailored options and recommendations to customers for meeting their event, conference, group travel, or incentive travel requirements.
- • Manage all types of global events including conferences, corporate meetings, group travel, and incentive programs.
- • Proactively maintain relationships with existing customers to uncover and nurture future business opportunities.
- • Demonstrate a problem-solving attitude by anticipating customer needs and delivering high-quality service throughout the entire customer journey.
- • Ensure all client responses are processed within the company’s agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- • Adhere to all company Quality Standards and Procedures in daily operations.
- • Actively participate in company processes and provide constructive suggestions for operational improvements.
- • Collaborate with and support colleagues as needed to foster a strong team environment.
- • Maximize revenue potential by identifying and generating additional income streams across all regions to contribute to Perk’s overall revenue and profitability targets.
- • Deliver high-level service for Event Sales and Group Travel as value-added add-on services to Perk’s core platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • Previous experience working in a venue sourcing or meetings & events team, preferably with an agency background
- • Demonstrated knowledge of global venue and event destinations
- • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner and experience negotiating rates with suppliers over the phone
- • Excellent time management and ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
- • Positive, flexible attitude and proven ability to function as a collaborative team player
- • Organized approach to managing multiple projects and client requests simultaneously
