This role is designed for a visionary leader who understands that events are not just marketing activities, but powerful revenue-generating infrastructure. You will own the entire event-driven demand generation process, from conceptualization to execution and conversion, ensuring every gathering contributes directly to our sales pipeline and overall business objectives.
- • Your core mandate will be to design and implement revenue-focused events that resonate with our target audience, specifically focusing on executive-level engagement. This involves meticulously planning and executing a variety of event formats, including intimate executive roundtables, insightful industry sessions, and exclusive high-signal gatherings. The ultimate goal is to generate qualified pipeline, meticulously manage the conversion of event attendees into sales opportunities, and establish robust, recurring event frameworks that foster continuous engagement and predictable revenue streams.
- • You will be instrumental in partnering with our Sales Directors to align event strategies with broader sales objectives. This collaborative approach ensures that our events are not only well-attended but also highly effective in supporting the sales team's efforts to close deals. A key aspect of your role will be to meticulously track event-attributed revenue, providing clear visibility into the direct financial impact of your initiatives. This data-driven approach will enable you to continuously optimize event ROI and conversion metrics, refining our strategies for maximum effectiveness.
- • The impact of this role is significant and far-reaching. You will be directly responsible for increasing enterprise pipeline, opening doors to higher levels of executive access, and accelerating the trust-building process with key stakeholders. By creating meaningful and valuable experiences, you will foster stronger relationships that lead to accelerated deal cycles and increased win rates. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver high-quality leads and contribute demonstrably to Rwazi's revenue targets.
- • Key responsibilities include the end-to-end planning and execution of executive roundtables and industry sessions. This involves identifying target audiences, developing compelling content and agendas, securing high-profile speakers, and managing all logistical aspects to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for attendees. You will work closely with the Partnerships Manager to whom you report, ensuring alignment with overall partnership and monetization strategies.
- • A crucial part of your role will involve developing and implementing sophisticated lead nurturing and follow-up processes post-event. This includes working hand-in-hand with the sales development and account executive teams to ensure timely and effective engagement with event-generated leads, maximizing the conversion potential.
- • You will be responsible for defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for all events, including but not limited to, lead generation volume, pipeline value generated, conversion rates at each stage of the sales funnel, cost per lead, and overall event ROI. Regular reporting on these metrics to senior leadership will be essential.
- • Furthermore, you will explore and implement innovative event formats and technologies to enhance engagement and reach, potentially including virtual and hybrid event models, interactive workshops, and exclusive online communities.
- • This role requires a proactive, data-driven individual with a strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and the role of events in demand generation. You should be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a proven track record of delivering successful, revenue-generating events.
- • You will also be responsible for managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and negotiating with vendors to secure the best possible rates and services.
- • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams, will be vital to ensure cohesive event strategies and execution.
