Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as the strategic right hand to a Vice President and eight additional VP-level leaders, orchestrating their daily operations so they can focus on driving Cardinal Health’s mission to advance healthcare and improve lives every day. You will own the master calendar—anticipating conflicts, negotiating priorities, and rapidly re-aligning schedules across multiple time zones—while ensuring every meeting, off-site, and leadership retreat runs flawlessly.
- • Provide end-to-end executive support that goes far beyond traditional calendar management. You will book complex multi-city travel, secure last-minute conference rooms, arrange catering, manage ground transportation, and create detailed itineraries that balance cost efficiency with executive preference. When plans shift due to weather, flight cancellations, or emerging business needs, you calmly re-engineer the entire agenda within minutes.
- • Act as the confidential gatekeeper for sensitive communications, strategic projects, and personnel matters. You will screen incoming calls and emails, triage requests from internal teams, board members, and external partners, and decide what warrants immediate escalation versus what can be handled independently—always exercising impeccable judgment and discretion.
- • Generate polished, data-driven PowerPoint decks, Excel models, and Word documents that distill complex information into executive-ready insights. You will maintain shared, live versions on Microsoft Teams, ensuring version control and real-time collaboration across a matrixed organization. When leadership needs a last-minute board presentation, you pull together charts, graphs, and narrative in hours—not days.
- • Own the full lifecycle of expense management: prepare and submit executive expense reports, serve as delegate to review and approve VP-level T&E submissions, and enforce Cardinal Health’s travel and expense policies to ensure compliance and cost stewardship. You will flag anomalies, reconcile corporate card statements, and partner with Finance to streamline processes.
- • Coordinate department-wide leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, and culture-building events. This includes negotiating vendor contracts, managing AV requirements, creating run-of-show documents, and overseeing on-site logistics for up to 200 attendees. Your attention to detail ensures every participant feels valued and every objective is met.
- • Maintain dynamic organization charts and distribution lists that reflect real-time personnel changes across nine executive teams. You will liaise with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Communications to ensure intranet sites, email aliases, and reporting structures remain accurate and secure.
- • Serve as the connective tissue between executives, peer Executive Administrative Assistants, and cross-functional stakeholders. You will proactively share best practices, mentor junior admins, and champion process improvements that elevate the entire administrative community.
- • Leverage Cardinal Health’s enterprise software to compile operational reports, KPI dashboards, and compliance trackers. You will translate raw data into actionable insights that inform staffing decisions, budget allocations, and strategic initiatives.
- • Champion a culture of confidentiality, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. Whether onboarding a new VP, supporting a high-stakes acquisition integration, or orchestrating a global town hall, you bring calm expertise, creative problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
