📋 Description
- • Executive Assistant and Team Support role providing high-level assistance to the CEO, Board of Trustees, and wider organisation at Pear Tree, an NGO focused on environmental sustainability and Maori community engagement.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the CEO’s inbox and calendar, drafting correspondence and reports, coordinating meetings and travel, maintaining task lists, handling sensitive information, supporting Board meeting preparation and documentation, assisting with HR functions like recruitment and onboarding, supporting Health & Safety documentation and audits, managing contract registers and project support, and maintaining organised digital filing systems.
- • The team operates within a mission-driven NGO that upholds kaupapa Māori values, focusing on environmental sustainability and community development through governance, HR, health and safety, and project-based initiatives.
- • The role offers opportunity to develop expertise in executive support, governance processes, HR administration, compliance, and project coordination within a purpose-led organisation, contributing to meaningful community and environmental outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years’ experience as a PA/EA or similar support role
- • Strong organisational and time management skills
- • Experience supporting governance, HR, or compliance functions
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- • Excellent written and verbal communication
- • Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude
- • Strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- • Commitment to kaupapa Māori values and community development
