📋 Description
- • Lead senior executive searches across EMEA and APAC regions for OpenAI’s Business organization, focusing on sales, partnerships, marketing, product, tech, customer success, and revenue operations leadership roles.
- • Partner directly with hiring leaders to define role scope, calibrate candidate profiles, and design search strategies aligned with regional talent market dynamics and business objectives.
- • Develop comprehensive market maps and talent insights to guide both active hires and long-term international talent acquisition strategy.
- • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level talent across the global technology ecosystem, particularly within EMEA and APAC markets.
- • Assess candidates holistically on functional capability, operating style, domain expertise, cultural fit, and alignment with OpenAI’s mission and values.
- • Deliver a high-quality, professional candidate experience characterized by clarity, responsiveness, and thoughtful engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- • Collaborate with recruiting coordinators, recruiting operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of searches from kickoff through offer closure.
- • Navigate complex, fast-moving environments where organizational priorities and hiring needs shift rapidly, adjusting strategy and tactics with agility.
- • Operate with high judgment, professionalism, and discretion when managing sensitive, confidential, or strategically critical executive searches.
- • Manage multiple concurrent executive searches across multiple time zones and geographies while maintaining precision, urgency, and attention to detail.
- • Advise stakeholders on regional hiring nuances, including employment regulations, compensation norms, and cultural expectations in key EMEA and APAC markets.
- • Represent OpenAI with integrity and thoughtfulness to senior candidates, ensuring the company’s mission and culture are communicated accurately and compellingly.
- • Contribute to the evolution of international recruiting processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements grounded in regional market realities.
- • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of global technology talent landscapes, competitor hiring trends, and emerging leadership talent pools in EMEA and APAC.
- • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with local labor laws and OpenAI’s global diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments.
- • Proactively identify passive candidates and cultivate pipelines to support future hiring needs in underrepresented or high-demand markets.
- • Balance strategic advisory with hands-on execution, moving seamlessly between long-term talent planning and urgent search execution.
