- • As a Sr. Efficiency and Training Specialist at Sunrun, you will play a critical role in advancing the company’s mission to connect people to clean energy by ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence across field operations. You will help build and sustain a strong safety and quality culture while supporting the development of field personnel through training, coaching, and mentorship.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting field visits to meet volume and quality targets, leading new hire onboarding and battery training sessions, performing safety and quality inspections via Vector, analyzing KPIs such as safety, quality, FIC, hrs/kW, and PTO health, and developing improvement plans to drive performance. You will also lead training sessions in various settings—classroom, field, and virtual—and serve as a mentor to Associate Efficiency and Training Specialists.
- • You will be part of Sunrun’s Operations team, working within a vertically integrated model that controls the entire energy lifecycle from sale to installation and beyond. - • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in solar and battery installation techniques, construction standards, and safety procedures while developing leadership, training facilitation, and data-driven problem-solving skills. 🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or Journeyman electrician’s license or master electrician level certification (preferred)
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar industry
- • Construction safety background and OSHA training certificate
- • Must maintain a clean driving record, be 21+ years old, and possess a valid driver’s license
- • Proficient in GoogleSuite or Microsoft Excel/Word and Salesforce
- • NABCEP Certification is a plus
