- • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to SVPs, EVPs, and Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) from Global 1000 organizations and government agencies, guiding them on mission-critical supply chain priorities and enterprise goals.
- • Manage up to 24 senior executive client relationships throughout the full member lifecycle, including pre-sale, onboarding, engagement, review, and renewal phases.
- • Collaborate with Client Success Managers and Senior Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans that align with client objectives and Gartner’s supply chain strategy.
- • Define, develop, coach, and critique client supply chain strategies, organizational transformations, and implementation plans to accelerate outcomes and reduce cost and risk.
- • Deliver customized value plans by assessing client needs and leveraging Gartner research, peer networking, and coaching methodologies to advance supply chain maturity across multiple industries.
- • Facilitate and lead peer group calls, virtual roundtables, and Gartner Exec Series WebEx sessions to foster collaboration among supply chain executives.
- • Act as a liaison between client members and Gartner research analysts, facilitating participation in research studies, case panels, and industry benchmarking initiatives.
- • Provide feedback from the member base to Gartner’s research organization to shape relevant, actionable insights on supply chain trends, leadership, operations, and performance metrics.
- • Develop and deliver content through presentations, community portal interactions, and targeted research outputs to enhance client engagement and value realization.
- • Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships within Gartner to coordinate comprehensive client deliverables, including personalized coaching sessions, scripted analyst meetings, and curated research assets.
- • Support sales and marketing efforts by contributing to prospect cultivation, account plan development, and value demonstration activities to drive member retention and regional growth.
- • Maintain an in-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain strategy, execution, and performance improvement, including P&L leadership, organizational design, and business-supply chain alignment.
- • Demonstrate superior facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills while adapting to client cues and demonstrating reflective listening in executive-level engagements.
- • Lead complex, ambiguous client situations with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to deliver outcome-based business advice and leverage internal and external resources effectively.
- • Participate in Gartner’s research communities to stay current on supply chain trends and share real-world member experiences with analysts to enhance content relevance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Current or former SVP, EVP, or CSCO with 10+ years of senior executive experience in supply chain leadership, or 5+ years as a CSCO/SVP/EVP plus 5+ years as a Supply Chain Consulting Partner
- • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end supply chain strategy, execution, and performance improvement, including P&L responsibility and management of significant teams
- • Deep understanding of the role of the CSCO, supply chain leadership, operations management, strategy, and key industry metrics
- • Excellent interpersonal skills, humility, and proven ability to work effectively with C-suite executives
