📋 Description

• Lead the design and execution of AI-driven agentic UI solutions across APPLY’s client engagements in Retail, CPG, Sports, and Media industries.
• Spend at least 50% of time as a hands-on practitioner, actively designing alongside AI agents to create and refine user interfaces.
• Own and evolve APPLY’s agentic UI design workflows, ensuring alignment with emerging AI toolchains and industry best practices.
• Define and implement advanced design systems including token architecture, component governance, CMS integration, and multi-platform scalability standards.
• Translate high-level design strategy into detailed technical execution, specifying how AI-augmented interfaces are built, tested, and deployed.
• Serve as a trusted technical partner to clients and internal teams, bridging strategic vision with practical implementation of agentic experiences.
• Drive excellence in screen design, interaction patterns, and system-level execution for complex, AI-native customer experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize design systems and ensure consistent, scalable delivery across global client projects.
• Shape the future of UI design at APPLY by pioneering new workflows that integrate AI agents into the core design and delivery process.
• Mentor and elevate the craft of design teams by demonstrating and teaching AI-native design practices grounded in real-world execution.
• Maintain deep involvement in client-facing design deliverables, ensuring all outputs meet the highest standards of usability, innovation, and commercial impact.
• Work within hybrid/remote-friendly structure, aligning core working hours with Eastern Time (ET) or Pacific Time (PT) zones.
• Report directly to the Head of Experience Design, taking full accountability for the quality, consistency, and innovation of agentic UI outputs.
• Stay current with advancements in AI tooling for design, evaluating and integrating new technologies into APPLY’s design pipeline.
• Balance strategic leadership with hands-on design work, ensuring the practice remains grounded in practical, executable design excellence.
• Champion a culture of execution-focused delivery where design leadership is demonstrated through direct contribution, not just oversight.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior design leader in AI-native or agentic UI environments
• Deep expertise in design systems including token architecture, component governance, and CMS integration
• Minimum 50% hands-on design time with AI tools and agentic workflows
• Demonstrated ability to translate design strategy into technical execution for complex, multi-platform interfaces
• Strong client-facing skills with experience guiding enterprise clients through AI-driven design transformations
• Working hours aligned with Eastern Time (ET) or Pacific Time (PT) zones
