  • • The Experienced Desk Adjuster role at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. is a remote position after initial training, focused on handling property and casualty claims up to $15,000 for insurers across the U.S. This role is critical in ensuring fair and timely resolution of claims, directly supporting individuals facing unexpected losses such as property damage or accidents.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating insurance policies and claim forms to determine coverage, conducting investigations by reviewing police and hospital records, interviewing claimants and witnesses, estimating repair or replacement costs, preparing detailed reports, negotiating settlements, issuing payments, managing salvage and subrogation, revising case reserves, and escalating complex cases exceeding $15,000 to leadership. The role also involves attending litigation hearings and participating in depositions when necessary, all while maintaining an efficient caseload using technology and automation tools.
