Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Be the face of Lessen’s award-winning service model as you travel throughout the Charlotte region, completing high-impact work orders that keep more than 1 million properties running smoothly. Every repair you make directly improves the living and working experience of thousands of residents and tenants.
- • Own your daily schedule from start to finish: receive work orders through Lessen’s proprietary mobile platform, review scope and budget, confirm parts availability, and execute repairs with minimal supervision. You’ll manage 8–12 tickets per day, prioritizing quality over quantity to uphold our 98 % customer-satisfaction score.
- • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, pool equipment, and exterior building envelope systems. Your troubleshooting skills will reduce repeat visits and cut client costs by an average of 12 % per ticket.
- • Source and purchase materials using a company-issued P-card, staying within approved budgets while leveraging vendor relationships to negotiate best pricing. Submit receipts and photos in real time through the Lessen app to keep financial records transparent and audit-ready.
- • Coordinate with vetted subcontractors when specialized licensing or heavy equipment is required. You’ll schedule site visits, review bids, inspect completed work, and sign off only when workmanship meets Lessen’s rigorous standards—ensuring zero punch-list items at final walkthrough.
- • Execute preventive-maintenance programs that extend asset life and reduce emergency call volume. You’ll replace HVAC filters, test GFCI outlets, caulk exterior penetrations, and winterize irrigation systems, turning reactive repairs into proactive value creation.
- • Champion safety on every job site by completing OSHA-approved training modules, wearing provided PPE, and documenting hazards in the Lessen portal. Your attention to detail keeps incident rates below industry benchmarks and protects both teammates and occupants.
- • Deliver white-glove customer service: greet residents professionally, explain repairs in plain language, and leave units cleaner than you found them. Positive Google and Yelp reviews tied to your work ID are rewarded with quarterly spot bonuses.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement by flagging recurring defects, suggesting SOP updates, and beta-testing new app features. Field feedback from technicians like you drives 30 % of our annual product roadmap.
- • Grow into leadership roles—Lead Technician, Zone Supervisor, or Field Maintenance Manager—by mentoring new hires, leading safety stand-ups, and hitting key KPIs such as first-time-fix rate, budget adherence, and Net Promoter Score.
- • Enjoy a true Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call nights or weekends. Your workday starts at 7:30 AM from your driveway and ends when the last ticket is closed—usually by 4:30 PM—giving you evenings and weekends for family, hobbies, or side projects.
- • Represent a venture-backed company that completed 3.5 million work orders last year and is expanding into 12 new metro markets in 2025. Your craftsmanship today becomes the case study that secures tomorrow’s national contracts.
