- • Conduct telephone functional assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions, compiling clear, concise, and factual medical reports to support benefit claim decisions for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Department for Communities (DfC).
- • Collaborate with Regional Managers and administrators to meet service level agreements, using IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing while embracing ongoing feedback and professional development.
- • Join Capita’s Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS), a team delivering assessments on behalf of UK government departments to create better outcomes for individuals through evidence-based functional assessments.
- • Develop expertise in functional assessment, report writing, and government compliance, with opportunities to grow your career across Capita’s diverse network of disciplines and sectors.
🎯 Requirements
- • DfC / DWP Approval as a WCA Assessor.
- • One year’s post-registration experience as a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic, or doctor.
- • Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, GMC), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN.
- • Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- • Willingness to undergo BPSS security clearance.
