📋 Description
- • Serve as a senior Sales Engineer supporting U.S. Federal Civilian customers within the Department of Defense (DOD) market, guiding technical pre-sales efforts and aligning CrowdStrike’s AI-native platform with federal mission requirements.
- • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers, Product Management, Sales Engineering Leadership, Alliances, and Horizon SE teams to ensure technical solutions meet federal acquisition strategies and compliance frameworks.
- • Conduct Proof of Value (POV) engagements with deep expertise in how technology wins drive deal closure in the federal sector.
- • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of endpoint and network security technologies including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, and related domains.
- • Articulate complex cybersecurity problems and solutions to diverse audiences, including technical teams, procurement officers, and C-level executives.
- • Act as the primary technical bridge between CrowdStrike and federal prospects/customers, managing escalations, gathering feedback, and ensuring seamless communication across Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering teams.
- • Operate as a self-starter with the ability to manage independent workflows while maintaining alignment with team objectives and federal customer timelines.
- • Maintain strong, active contacts within the information security field and leverage professional networks to support customer acquisition and retention.
- • Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations tailored to federal procurement processes and security standards.
- • Stay current with evolving federal cybersecurity mandates, including FedRAMP IL-5, CJIS, and other compliance frameworks relevant to DOD and civilian agencies.
- • Travel as required to meet with federal customers, attend industry events, and support on-site demonstrations and evaluations.
- • Participate in background and fingerprint checks consistent with U.S. government customer requirements, including maintaining active security clearances.
- • Support the full sales cycle from initial engagement through technical validation, proposal support, and post-sale transition to customer success teams.
- • Leverage deep understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems to configure, demonstrate, and troubleshoot CrowdStrike’s platform in federal environments.
- • Provide technical input to Product Management based on direct customer feedback and emerging federal security needs.
- • Represent CrowdStrike with integrity and professionalism in all interactions with federal stakeholders, upholding the company’s mission to stop breaches.
