đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Federal Technical Architect specializing in Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and OmniStudio, you will be the cornerstone of high-impact digital transformation initiatives within the Federal government. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be instrumental in the comprehensive design, development, and governance of cutting-edge Salesforce solutions tailored to the unique needs of public sector clients.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert architectural oversight, ensuring that all solutions are not only technically sound but also highly scalable, secure, performant, and fully compliant with stringent Federal mandates. This includes adherence to critical security, data privacy, and accessibility standards, ensuring the integrity and trustworthiness of the deployed systems.
  • • You will be the driving force behind setting technical standards and best practices for the team, proactively identifying and mitigating potential technical risks and challenges. Your role extends to mentoring and guiding the development team, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring the ultimate technical quality and successful deployment of every solution.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves translating highly complex Federal business processes, policy requirements, and mission objectives into clear, actionable technical designs and detailed user stories. This requires a deep understanding of both the public sector landscape and the capabilities of the Salesforce PSS and OmniStudio platforms.
  • • You will lead the end-to-end technical design and implementation strategy for large-scale PSS and OmniStudio projects. This leadership ensures seamless integration with existing Federal enterprise architectures and directly supports the achievement of critical mission objectives.
  • • Serving as the principal technical liaison, you will bridge the gap between the development team, client stakeholders, and other cross-functional technical teams, including enterprise architects and security specialists. Effective communication and collaboration are paramount to success.
  • • You will define and champion standards and best practices for leveraging OmniStudio components such as OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures. Similarly, you will guide the effective use of PSS common components, including the Business Rules Engine, DocGen, Action Plans, and Dynamic Assessments.
  • • Designing secure and scalable integration architectures is a core function. You will architect solutions that seamlessly connect Salesforce Government Cloud, OmniStudio, and mandated Federal external systems. This involves expertise in protocols like REST, SOAP, OAuth, SAML, and PKI, and a thorough understanding of standards such as NIEM and XML/JSON schemas.
  • • Proactive risk management is essential. You will identify, analyze, and mitigate technical risks, limitations, and potential performance bottlenecks that are often inherent in complex Federal PSS OmniStudio implementations.
  • • You will provide direct technical direction and oversight to a team of OmniStudio Developers. This includes conducting rigorous code reviews, promoting sound development practices, emphasizing reusability, and embedding security-by-design principles from the outset.
  • • Defining and enforcing technical quality standards is critical. Your focus will be on ensuring high-volume scalability, optimized performance, long-term maintainability, and minimizing technical debt to ensure the longevity and efficiency of the solutions.
  • • You will own the CI/CD strategy for OmniStudio and PSS components, establishing secure, automated deployment pipelines that meet the stringent DevSecOps and change management requirements of the Federal government.
  • • Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508, is a non-negotiable requirement. You will also ensure adherence to all relevant Federal security mandates, such as FISMA and FedRAMP.
  • • This role demands a forward-thinking approach, anticipating future needs and ensuring solutions are adaptable and future-proofed within the dynamic Federal landscape.
  • • You will be a key contributor to the growth and success of our Public Sector Solutions practice, acting as a thought leader and a trusted advisor to our clients and internal teams.

  • • 2-4 years of experience serving as a Technical Architect with end-to-end ownership of a major Salesforce or OmniStudio implementation.

  • • Expert-level knowledge of architectural patterns, data modeling, performance tuning, and security best practices within the Salesforce platform.
  • • Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, conduct quality code reviews, and establish technical standards.
  • • Deep practical experience with version control (Git) and defining CI/CD DevSecOps strategies in a regulated, secure environment.
  • • Experience or strong understanding of the compliance requirements and delivery environments of Federal or Public Sector clients, working with Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • • Salesforce Certified Application Architect AND System Architect (required).
  • • Must be a U.S. Citizen (required).
