  • • Manage all sales results for mid-size and large accounts within a defined geographic territory in the United States, ensuring alignment with Sartorius’s organizational strategy and revenue targets.
  • • Promote Sartorius’s products and services to assigned customers, focusing on life science and laboratory/process-based markets to drive sales growth.
  • • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company’s market and growth strategy, leveraging customer insights and market trends.
  • • Actively use Salesforce (SFDC) to document all customer interactions, leads, and sales activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry as the primary tool for sales steering and performance tracking.
  • • Analyze SFDC data to identify customer trends, track sales performance, and generate actionable insights to optimize account strategies and forecast outcomes.
  • • Drive the adoption and successful implementation of newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace through proactive follow-up and customer engagement.
  • • Assess customer needs, respond to inquiries, and recommend appropriate Sartorius products and services based on technical and operational requirements.
  • • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, including resource coordination and cross-functional alignment to support account objectives.
  • • Collaborate closely with marketing, technical, and internal teams to build market perception, design effective sales strategies, and secure business from key accounts.
  • • Coordinate and participate in regional marketing activities to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads within the assigned territory.
  • • Continuously evaluate customer potential and develop plans to convert opportunities into measurable business outcomes.
  • • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key decision-makers to ensure customer retention and account loyalty.
  • • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the assigned U.S. territory to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support on-site sales activities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or engineering (higher education preferred)
  • • 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably in life science, laboratory, or process-based industries
  • • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM systems, including proactive usage for sales activity tracking
  • • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • • Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of sales outcomes
  • • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
