- ⢠As a Field Account Manager for the MEA region based in Germany, you will drive strategic growth for Sartorius Stedim Biotechâs Bioprocess Solutions portfolio across the GCC, directly contributing to revenue targets and market expansion in a high-potential life sciences territory.
- ⢠Your day-to-day responsibilities include promoting the full BPS product portfolio to mid-size and large accounts in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia; identifying new business opportunities aligned with regional dynamics; owning end-to-end Salesforce (SFDC) opportunity management and data accuracy; analyzing SFDC data to uncover customer trends and monitor performance; launching and supporting market introduction of innovative BPS products; assessing customer needs and developing tailored solution recommendations; creating and executing account plans while coordinating internal stakeholders; collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Tech Support, Service, and other teams to strengthen market perception and define win strategies; participating in regional marketing activities to boost lead generation and brand visibility; systematically evaluating customer potential and converting it into long-term opportunities; developing and nurturing strategic, long-term customer relationships; and operating effectively within a matrix organization to ensure seamless alignment across functions.
- ⢠You will join the BPS Sales Region MEA Team at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH, a dynamic, globally oriented unit focused on expanding the companyâs footprint in the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the Head of Sales MEA, youâll operate remotely from Germany with frequent travel to the GCC, working alongside a collaborative, international team committed to advancing life science innovations that support breakthroughs in therapeutics for cancer, dementia, and other diseases.
- ⢠In this role, you will deepen your expertise in life sciences sales, master complex B2B sales cycles in regulated industries, refine your strategic account planning and Salesforce analytics skills, and grow as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in pharma, biotech, and biomanufacturing. Youâll gain exposure to cutting-edge bioprocessing technologies, enhance your cross-functional leadership in a matrix environment, and build a track record of measurable market impactâpositioning you for future growth into regional leadership or global account management roles within Sartorius.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠Masterâs degree in Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related Life Science/Engineering field; PhD welcome
- ⢠Several years of field sales experience in Life Science, Pharma, Biotech, or Biotech Manufacturing
- ⢠Strong understanding of the GCC markets (UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia) and their Life Science/Biotech/Pharma landscape
- ⢠Hands-on expertise with SFDC and CRM systems, paired with strong digital working skills
- ⢠Excellent communication and negotiation strengths, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
- ⢠High level of energy, self-motivation, results orientation, and structured, independent working habits
- ⢠Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and matrix environments
- ⢠Strong willingness to travel frequently across the GCC region
- ⢠Solid software proficiency, including MS Office
- ⢠Fluency in English and Arabic
