- • Travel up to 100% across the United States to install, maintain, and support Drone as a First Responder (DFR) systems at customer sites.
- • Conduct on-site assessments to verify power availability, mounting structures, network connectivity, and physical access requirements for DFR infrastructure.
- • Install and configure hardware components including cameras, drone docks, and associated field infrastructure.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in the field to ensure system functionality.
- • Complete detailed installation documentation, including photographs, service notes, and system records for each deployment.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate technical issues and contribute to improvements in field operations and deployment processes.
- • Communicate directly with public safety customers during installation and support activities to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
- • Ensure all field work complies with safety standards, local codes, and Flock Safety protocols.
- • Operate independently in dynamic outdoor environments, including working at elevated heights such as rooftops, ladders, and lifts.
- • Lift and carry equipment weighing 75+ pounds during installation and maintenance tasks.
- • Manage all aspects of personal travel logistics, including booking flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and possess acceptable identification for TSA air travel (e.g., REAL ID or passport).
- • Adhere to company policies and procedures while representing Flock Safety in the field.
- • Work in varied weather conditions and outdoor settings across diverse geographic locations.
- • Utilize MacOS, Windows, or Android devices for system configuration, documentation, and communication.
- • Maintain awareness of evolving DFR technology and deployment best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience with drone systems, surveillance technology, or public safety environments
- • Experience in field-based technical work such as construction, low-voltage installation, or telecommunications
- • FAA Part 107 Certification or willingness to obtain within 45 days of hire
- • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively across the U.S.
- • Familiarity with MacOS, Windows, or Android operating systems
- • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 75+ pounds
