- • Own the EPD rhythm of business by building and managing weekly operating reviews, monthly business reviews, planning cycles, and roadmap processes with minimum viable processes for each.
- • Run the ShipOps function to enable Launch Calendar reviews and sustain Vercel’s high-velocity "You Can Just Ship Things" approach.
- • Establish a structured "product landing" framework that ensures new features and products are adopted, drive intended business outcomes, and generate learnings to inform future iterations beyond the ship date.
- • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to set targets, create plans, and execute tactics that drive deal pipeline creation, user launches, and adoption ramps.
- • Develop and maintain competitive intelligence systems that provide product leaders with a continuously updated view of the market landscape.
- • Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science to ensure analytical infrastructure—including data pipelines, warehouse models, and tooling—supports the speed and accuracy of business-critical analysis.
- • Collaborate with EPD leads to maintain team health, visibility into capacity, and optimal resource allocation to ensure high-priority initiatives are properly staffed and execution risks are surfaced early.
- • Build and scale operating systems that make Vercel’s high-velocity product development sustainable over time.
- • Translate complex technical product capabilities into clear value propositions for non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- • Drive end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives in ambiguous environments with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
- • Support the alignment of product roadmap and revenue plan across engineering, product, go-to-market, and finance teams.
- • Ensure measurement infrastructure is in place to evaluate post-launch success of products and features, linking product performance to business outcomes.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle and improve processes used by EPD teams to plan, build, and ship.
- • Act as a strategic advisor to the CPO and EPD leadership, providing data-driven insights to inform product and business decisions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in product operations, business operations, strategy, or a closely adjacent function inside a high-growth technology company.
- • Ability to understand complex, technical products and articulate their value to non-technical audiences.
- • Deep familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and experience improving EPD planning, building, and shipping processes.
- • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple functional stakeholders.
- • Past experience working at the intersection of product and go-to-market teams in a software company.
- • Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including users.
