📋 Description

• • As an Enterprise Strategic Field Engineer (L5) at Replit, you will be the pivotal technical expert driving success for our most significant and strategic enterprise clients. This hybrid role is crucial for both pre-sales and post-sales engagements, focusing on closing complex technical evaluations and ensuring deep adoption, expansion, and long-term retention of Replit's platform. You will be instrumental in shaping the end-to-end technical relationship, from initial architectural discussions through multi-year growth, empowering our enterprise customers to not just utilize Replit, but to truly become Replit-powered organizations.
• • You will operate within a high-accountability Pod structure, collaborating closely with Account Executives and Account Managers. This is not a passive support function; you are a proactive, strategic technical leader who anticipates and resolves potential issues before they arise, champions innovative use cases, and directly contributes to achieving significant revenue targets, influencing upwards of $5 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
• • In the pre-sales phase, you will act as the expert closer during complex deal engagements. This involves conducting in-depth discovery sessions to understand the client's existing technology stack, constraints, and business objectives. Based on this understanding, you will architect and present a compelling technical strategy that aligns with their needs and positions Replit as the optimal solution.
• • A key aspect of your role will be leading Proof of Value (POV) and Live Building sessions. You will demonstrate Replit's capabilities by building functional applications in real-time during executive meetings, showcasing immediate value and technical feasibility to VPs and C-suite stakeholders. This hands-on approach is critical for building confidence and accelerating decision-making.
• • You will be responsible for Context and Connectivity (MCP) by developing and deploying Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. These servers will securely integrate Replit Agents with customer-specific data, establishing Replit as the central hub for their internal development processes and workflows.
• • Enterprise Governance is another core responsibility. You will lead the 'Guardrails' initiative, configuring workspace policies and AI governance templates to ensure data safety, compliance with industry regulations, and approval from Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs).
• • For infrastructure, you will conduct deep-dive reviews of Single-Tenant VPC deployments, ensuring Replit seamlessly integrates with the customer's existing security posture and meets their stringent requirements.
• • You will orchestrate and lead high-energy Hackathons and Trials in partnership with Account Executives. These events are designed to provide hands-on experience, foster excitement, and accelerate the adoption of Replit within client organizations.
• • In the post-sales phase, you will lead the technical kickoff for production environments. This includes ensuring the successful implementation of production-ready Single Sign-On (SSO), SCIM provisioning, robust guardrails, and comprehensive security configurations.
• • Your role extends to Technical Onboarding and Enablement. You will ensure customers are proficient in leveraging Replit's full capabilities by conducting training sessions and workshops. These sessions will focus on establishing effective enterprise workflows and empowering both technical and non-technical teams.
• • You will develop and deploy tailored Design Systems and starter templates that align with the customer's specific technology stack, significantly reducing their internal development time and accelerating time-to-market for their applications.
• • A critical objective is to Drive Viral Growth within accounts. By building strong trust with key technical stakeholders and proactively running enablement sessions, you will encourage continuous building and foster a culture of innovation, acting as the catalyst for widespread adoption across the organization.
• • You will actively Source and Qualify Expansion opportunities by collaborating with Account Managers. This involves identifying new teams, emerging use cases, and potential projects where Replit can deliver additional value. Your technical validation will be essential for supporting commercial expansion.
• • You will co-lead Value-Based Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), shifting the focus from technical features to the tangible business value delivered by Replit and aligning on strategic roadmaps for future growth and innovation.
