📋 Description

  • Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on MRI and CT medical equipment at customer hospital or healthcare system locations in the Tampa, FL area.
  • Ensure timely and accurate service delivery to maintain optimal operation of life-changing medical equipment and support uninterrupted patient care.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing clear, timely communication, resolving issues promptly, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to meet all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Accurately document all work performed, including parts ordered, service actions taken, and equipment status updates.
  • Work on-site at customer facilities during 2nd shift hours: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
  • Operate independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams to coordinate service logistics, parts procurement, and technical support.
  • Ensure all service activities comply with safety standards and equipment-specific technical specifications for MRI and CT modalities.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds unassisted, and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, squat, kneel, and crawl as required during equipment service.
  • Reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex and extend neck; and maintain good hand and finger dexterity to perform precise technical tasks.
  • Stand, sit, and remain on your feet for extended periods during service calls and equipment diagnostics.
  • Travel to various hospital and healthcare system locations within the Tampa, FL metropolitan area as needed for service assignments.
  • Follow all drug screening and workplace safety protocols as required by GE HealthCare and customer facilities.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to customer sites across the Tampa region.

🎯 Requirements

  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military education and 2 years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR High School Diploma/GED and minimum 6 years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience servicing medical equipment, specifically MRI and/or CT modalities.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience interfacing with internal teams and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
