- • Hauler Hero is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Field Marketing Manager to spearhead our event strategy and execution. As our first dedicated hire in this crucial function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we leverage events to drive pipeline and revenue within the waste management industry. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a field marketing program from the ground up, establishing processes and demonstrating measurable impact.
- • Our company, Hauler Hero, is a dynamic B2B SaaS provider serving small to mid-size waste haulers. We offer modern software solutions designed to meet the operational realities of businesses often underserved by legacy providers. With 175 customers already on board, we are experiencing significant growth and are looking to expand our market presence.
- • Events are a cornerstone of our go-to-market strategy, particularly for securing larger deal sizes. This role is designed for an individual who is not only adept at managing the intricate logistics of events but also possesses a strategic mindset to optimize our event investments and ensure they directly contribute to our sales objectives.
- • You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of all field marketing activities. This includes managing the logistics for major tradeshows and smaller regional events, ensuring seamless operations from planning to on-site execution. Your responsibilities will encompass booth management, coordinating swag and collateral, arranging travel and accommodations, and overseeing shipping and on-site setup.
- • A key aspect of this role involves ensuring our sales teams are fully prepared and supported at every event. You will act as the central point of contact, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to deliver consistent, professional, and impactful event experiences. This collaborative approach will ensure that Hauler Hero consistently presents a strong and unified brand presence.
- • You will also be instrumental in the planning and optimization of our event calendar and budget. This includes tracking leads, opportunities, and pipeline influenced by our event participation. By partnering closely with our Sales and Demand Generation teams, you will drive effective post-event follow-up strategies and comprehensive reporting.
- • A significant part of your contribution will be to help identify which events yield the best results and to provide data-driven recommendations for future event spend. This analytical approach will be crucial for maximizing our ROI and focusing our efforts on the most impactful opportunities.
- • Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to assist in launching regional meetups and early user events, fostering community and gathering valuable customer feedback.
- • Success in your first 12 months will be measured by the smooth execution of events with minimal last-minute issues, the establishment of clear visibility into event performance and spend, and demonstrable improvements in lead follow-up and opportunity generation stemming from events. We also aim for strong internal feedback from our Sales and Marketing partners, recognizing your contribution to building a repeatable foundation for scaling our field marketing programs.

- • 3-5 years of experience in field marketing, event management, or B2B marketing, with a proven track record of supporting tradeshows and regional events.
- • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex logistics and multiple projects simultaneously.
- • Experience working closely with sales teams and a strong understanding of how to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
- • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and project management tools.
- • Willingness to travel approximately 10-15% of the time to attend key industry events.
