📋 Description

• The Field Medical Director (FMD) is a field-facing representative of the Medical Affairs Department responsible for engaging in the exchange of scientific data and education of healthcare practitioners on ImmunityBio products and relevant disease states, and facilitation of clinical research. This role is non-promotional in nature and critical to ensuring successful implementation of the medical affairs strategic plan within an assigned geographic region.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary clinical/scientific resource to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Practitioners (HCPs), delivering timely and accurate scientific presentations, establishing and maintaining peer relationships with HCPs, supporting investigator-initiated trials and corporate-sponsored trials, collaborating on medical affairs initiatives such as advisory boards and publications, and fulfilling pharmacovigilance responsibilities per company SOPs.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced medical/scientific/clinical degree (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, PA) with experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related healthcare field required
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant therapeutic area expertise in oncology, immunology, or related areas required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a clinical/medical science liaison or related field-facing role in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries preferred
• Clinical trial experience required
• Must possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical information and data required
