- • The Field Operator in Water Operations (Vantage) plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of water treatment and distribution systems through remote monitoring and rapid response to operational anomalies.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring water treatment plants, saltwater disposal systems, and distribution networks via SCADA; tracking flow rates, pressure levels, and reservoir levels; interpreting system alarms; responding to abnormal conditions; coordinating with field personnel to resolve issues; and supporting operations during system upsets or emergencies.

- • In this role, the individual will develop advanced skills in SCADA systems, real-time data analysis, emergency response protocols, and cross-functional coordination — building expertise that supports career growth in water operations, process control, or industrial automation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Understanding of water treatment processes and distribution systems
- • Familiarity with SCADA systems for remote monitoring and control
- • Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge related to pumps, valves, and instrumentation
- • Proficiency in SCADA and data logging software
- • Ability to interpret system alarms and troubleshoot remotely
- • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation
- • Ability to analyze operational data and identify trends or anomalies
- • Quick decision-making under pressure during system failures or emergencies
- • Clear verbal and written communication for coordination with field operators
- • Ability to document incidents and operational changes accurately
