- • The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) at McKesson Corporation is responsible for managing an assigned territory to support reimbursement and patient services by assisting with patient reimbursement challenges for a specific drug, including benefit investigation, prior authorization, claims assistance, and appeals, while educating healthcare offices on payer landscape and available services through remote and on-site interactions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing on-site and virtual education (such as Lunch and Learns or dinner presentations) to office staff on reimbursement challenges and support services, averaging 15 interactions per week, all tracked in the FRM CRM with weekly reporting to management.
- • The role involves reimbursement support through case management, billing and coding updates, claims submission assistance, specialty pharmacy coordination, medical benefit interpretation, and collaboration with case managers on approximately 4 cases per month, with all activities documented in CRM and hub systems.

- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in healthcare reimbursement, strengthen client-facing and relationship-building skills, gain deep knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance systems, and achieve measurable impact through territory performance monitoring, quarterly reporting, and direct support to physician offices and manufacturer representatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- • 4+ years of healthcare-related reimbursement experience
- • Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy
- • Experience in healthcare industry including insurance verification, prior authorizations, claim adjudication, and physician office or clinic settings
- • Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience
- • Proven presentation skills and experience
- • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills
- • Strong computer literacy including PowerPoint and web meeting experience
- • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- • Previous field experience, specialty pharmacy experience, or account management experience (a plus)
- • Must reside in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, Texas territory
- • Must be able to travel 80% (4 days per week) via automobile or plane
- • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record/MVR
