📋 Description

  • • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events in person to identify and engage potential prospects for Vendelux’s AI-powered event marketing platform.
  • • Initiate face-to-face conversations with event marketers, sales professionals, and senior stakeholders to understand their challenges and align Vendelux’s solutions with their needs.
  • • Qualify leads based on fit, interest, and decision-making authority, ensuring only high-value opportunities are passed to Account Executives.
  • • Use HubSpot to accurately capture, track, and manage all lead interactions, notes, and follow-up actions from in-person engagements.
  • • Schedule discovery meetings with qualified prospects for the sales team, ensuring seamless handoffs and consistent messaging.
  • • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine event targeting, messaging, and follow-up strategies based on real-time feedback from field interactions.
  • • Provide actionable insights from events regarding prospect pain points, competitor activity, and market trends to improve overall sales and marketing effectiveness.
  • • Represent Vendelux’s brand professionally at events, conveying the value of the platform through authentic, confident, and tailored conversations.
  • • Travel to events and conferences across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, with up to 70% of work time spent on the road.
  • • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of event marketing trends, SaaS sales cycles, and competitor offerings to enhance outreach credibility and relevance.
  • • Work independently in dynamic, fast-paced environments while adhering to structured sales processes and CRM protocols.
  • • Contribute to a culture of collaboration by sharing learnings, best practices, and field intelligence with teammates to optimize pipeline generation.
  • • Meet or exceed lead generation and meeting booking targets consistently through proactive, relationship-driven field engagement.
  • • Leverage personal energy and interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly with prospects, often in high-volume, high-energy event settings.
  • • Continuously adapt messaging and approach based on feedback from prospects and internal sales teams to maximize conversion efficiency.
  • • Ensure all outbound communications and follow-ups are timely, professional, and aligned with Vendelux’s brand voice and sales methodology.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1–2 years of proven success in in-person sales, including building client relationships and meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders face-to-face
  • • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage leads and track performance
  • • Willingness to travel regularly for events and conferences (up to 70% of the time)
  • • Energetic, outgoing personality with the ability to start conversations and build rapport quickly
  • • Highly organized with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
