  • • Serve as the primary point of contact for restaurant partners in North Scotland, specifically covering Aberdeen and Dundee, to drive new business acquisition and retention.
  • • Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurant partnerships in a structured and organized manner, identifying high-potential establishments based on local demand and market trends.
  • • Conduct in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and social media outreach to demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology platform and value proposition to restaurant owners and managers.
  • • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new restaurant partners, ensuring a swift, efficient, and seamless integration onto the Deliveroo platform.
  • • Monitor and support restaurant performance during the critical first eight weeks post-signing to maximize retention and order volume.
  • • Maintain deep local market knowledge by staying informed about emerging restaurants, culinary trends, and customer preferences across Aberdeen and Dundee.
  • • Sample food from partner restaurants to gain firsthand experience of offerings and better communicate quality and appeal to customers and internal teams.
  • • Attend local restaurant and food industry events to build relationships, gather market intelligence, and strengthen Deliveroo’s presence in the community.
  • • Achieve monthly KPIs focused on the number of restaurants signed, the quality of signed restaurants, and their performance within the first three months of partnership.
  • • Negotiate commercial terms that deliver mutual value for both restaurants and Deliveroo, balancing growth objectives with sustainable economics.
  • • Demonstrate strong understanding of food delivery economics from both restaurant and platform perspectives to confidently advise partners on pricing, commission, and operational efficiency.
  • • Work autonomously within demanding sales targets, taking full ownership of regional performance and pipeline development.
  • • Utilize a personal vehicle and valid driving licence to travel across the region for restaurant visits, meetings, and event attendance.
  • • Represent Deliveroo as a brand ambassador with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for food and local dining culture.
  • • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and broader UKI team to align on strategy, share insights, and contribute to regional growth initiatives.
  • • Stay updated on industry developments and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge in securing top-tier restaurant partners.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
  • • Proven sales experience with a track record of targeting and closing new business
  • • Experience negotiating commercial deals that create win-win outcomes
  • • Strong communication skills across face-to-face, phone, and digital channels
  • • Commercial understanding of food delivery economics for restaurants and platforms
