- • Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurant partners across Aberdeen and Dundee in a structured and organized manner, becoming a local market expert on emerging and high-demand dining establishments.
- • Conduct physical visits, phone calls, emails, and social media outreach to restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology platform and value proposition to restaurant owners.
- • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new restaurant partners, ensuring it is quick, efficient, and seamless from initial contact to live status on the platform.
- • Ensure the success of newly signed restaurants within the first eight weeks by providing guidance, support, and performance monitoring to drive early engagement and order volume.
- • Sample food from a variety of high-quality restaurants across the region to maintain firsthand knowledge of menu offerings and culinary trends.
- • Attend local restaurant and food industry meetups to build relationships, gather market intelligence, and strengthen Deliveroo’s presence in the North Scotland food scene.
- • Meet monthly KPIs focused on the number of restaurants signed, the quality of restaurants secured, and the performance of those restaurants in their first three months on the platform.
- • Negotiate win-win commercial deals with restaurant partners that align Deliveroo’s growth objectives with the economic needs of local food businesses.
- • Demonstrate deep understanding of the economics of food delivery for both restaurants and Deliveroo, including commission structures, delivery logistics, and customer acquisition costs.
- • Take full ownership of sales targets and deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive market with demanding performance expectations.
- • Maintain accurate records of restaurant interactions, pipeline progress, and onboarding status using company systems and tools.
- • Represent Deliveroo professionally in all customer-facing interactions, embodying the company’s mission to be the definitive food company by making food more convenient and accessible.
- • Utilize a personal vehicle and valid driving licence to travel throughout Aberdeen and Dundee to conduct restaurant visits, attend events, and meet delivery partners.
- • Stay informed about local food trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform sales strategy and restaurant selection.
- • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and wider UKI team to share insights, refine tactics, and contribute to regional growth initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
- • Proven sales experience with a track record of targeting and closing new business
- • Experience negotiating commercial deals with a focus on win-win outcomes
- • Strong communication skills across face-to-face, phone, and email channels
- • Commercial understanding of food delivery economics for restaurants and platforms
- • Right to work in the UK
