- • The Field Service Representative (FSR) I - III serves as a senior-level technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, playing a strategic role in providing pre-sales and post-sales support, influencing product direction, and delivering advanced technical solutions for Silvus Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions.
- • Day to day, the FSR acts as a technical subject matter expert for advanced wireless communication systems, designs and delivers technical demonstrations and system evaluations, conducts on-site and remote technical support including diagnostics and network optimization, leads product demonstrations and user trials, provides technical training to end users, and documents field observations to influence product roadmaps and internal processes.
- • The role operates within Silvus Technologies, a leader in advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems rooted in DARPA research, providing battle-proven StreamCaster radios and proprietary MN-MIMO waveform for defense, law enforcement, and public safety agencies worldwide, with a mission to keep heroes connected in mission-critical environments.
- • In this role, the individual can develop deep expertise in tactical communications, influence product design through field-driven feedback, exercise independent judgment in complex problem-solving, and grow into a trusted technical advisor shaping the future of secure, reliable mesh networking solutions for government and public safety customers.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma/GED required; technical degree preferred
- • Minimum 1-3 years of experience supporting communications, radios, or data networks in a DoD, Military, or Law Enforcement environment
- • Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire
- • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts
- • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
