📋 Description
- • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and system components in accordance with manufacturer specifications at client locations
- • Replace defective hardware parts and perform installations and upgrades of computer systems and related equipment
- • Collect and communicate technical data to support teams to facilitate escalations, project planning, and service improvements
- • Adhere to established service procedures, documentation standards, and daily administrative workflows
- • Deliver high-quality on-site technical support while maintaining positive and professional client relationships
- • Travel locally and occasionally over long distances, including potential air travel, to service client sites across Quebec
- • Work in confined or tight spaces such as under desks, kiosks, or counters during hardware maintenance and repairs
- • Climb ladders up to 12 feet to access equipment in elevated or hard-to-reach areas
- • Lift, bend, and move equipment weighing up to 75 lbs unassisted during service calls
- • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required
- • Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and client interactions
- • Operate a personal vehicle for daily field service assignments with mileage reimbursed
- • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies during field operations
- • Provide technical assistance in both French and English, ensuring clear communication with clients and internal teams
- • Support the growth of technical expertise through hands-on field experience and exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure
🎯 Requirements
- • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- • 1–2 years of experience in IT support, field services, or hardware repair
- • Valid Quebec Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record (SAAQ abstract required)
- • Access to a reliable personal vehicle
- • Strong working knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, networking hardware, cabling standards, servers, data center equipment, and power supplies
- • Ability to diagnose, test, and replace hardware components confidently
