• • As a Field Technician Lead at Davis Technology Management LLC, you will be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge Audio Visual (AV) and low voltage solutions to our diverse clientele across the DFW area. This pivotal role combines hands-on technical expertise with essential leadership responsibilities, empowering you to guide projects from inception to successful completion while mentoring a team of dedicated technicians.
• • Your primary mission will be to ensure the seamless execution of field installations, upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. You will be instrumental in installing, configuring, and supporting a wide array of AV systems, including state-of-the-art displays, projectors, sophisticated conferencing equipment, immersive sound systems, and intuitive control systems. This requires a deep understanding of AV signal flow and the ability to meticulously integrate hardware into client environments.
• • A significant aspect of your role involves the installation and management of low voltage cabling infrastructure. You will be responsible for running, terminating, testing, and certifying various cable types such as Cat6, fiber optics, coax, speaker wire, and control wiring. This foundational work is critical to the performance and reliability of the AV systems you deploy, demanding precision and adherence to industry best practices.
• • Leading by example, you will coordinate and guide field technicians on installation projects, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Your leadership will extend to providing mentorship and training to junior technicians, helping them develop their skills and understand our company's commitment to excellence. • • As the primary on-site representative for our clients, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional customer relationships. This involves clear, consistent, and professional communication regarding installation progress, any technical hurdles encountered, and the overall project status. You will conduct thorough post-installation walkthroughs, ensuring clients are fully satisfied with the deployed systems. Furthermore, you will provide basic system training to end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize the new technology and fostering a positive post-installation experience.
