• We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Filmmaker to join our dynamic team at Vana, Inc. in Guatemala. This role is pivotal in shaping our visual storytelling, demanding a unique blend of traditional filmmaking expertise and cutting-edge proficiency in Artificial Intelligence tools. You will be instrumental in producing dynamic, modern, and adaptable content across a multitude of platforms, ensuring our brand narrative is consistently engaging and visually compelling.
• As our Senior Filmmaker, you will take ownership of the entire content creation lifecycle. This includes conceptualizing, planning, shooting, directing, editing, and generating sophisticated visual assets. A core aspect of this role involves leveraging hybrid workflows that seamlessly integrate traditional production techniques with advanced AI technologies. Your mission is to guarantee exceptional quality, boundless creativity, and remarkable efficiency in every project undertaken.
• Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of creative and technical tasks. You will be expected to manage professional camera equipment, including mirrorless and DSLR cameras, with a keen eye for cinematic composition and visual storytelling. Mastering portable and studio lighting setups to create dynamic and impactful scenes will be crucial. Advanced editing skills in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro are essential for crafting polished final products.
• Furthermore, you will utilize motion graphics and compositing techniques in Adobe After Effects to elevate the visual appeal and complexity of our content. Proficiency in basic audio management on set and in post-production is also required to ensure high-quality sound design. A significant part of your role will involve the generation of visual resources using a variety of AI tools, including but not limited to Nano Banana Pro, Midjourney, Veo 3, Sora, and Runway. You will explore and implement AI for tasks such as scene cleanup, upscaling footage, rotoscoping, intelligent relighting, and advanced color correction.
• You will also be expected to possess basic knowledge of the broader Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for developing supplementary materials and integrating them into your video projects. Familiarity with organizational tools like Notion, Figma, and Google Suite is important for efficient project management and collaboration. It's understood that while proficiency across all these tools is valued, the primary focus is on their application in creating integrated resources for the final production.
• Your experience should reflect a strong track record in producing content for brands, social media campaigns, and advertising. You will have hands-on experience in recording and directing on set for various video formats, including lifestyle, testimonials, product showcases, and commercial narratives. The ability to develop compelling visual concepts and accurately interpret client briefs to translate them into impactful audiovisual pieces is paramount.
• You will be responsible for crafting engaging storylines and constructing sequences optimized for short-form and long-form platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube. A key differentiator for this role is the innovative use of AI to generate visual proposals, storyboards, unique assets, and even extend existing scenes, pushing the boundaries of creative possibility.

• Proven experience as a Filmmaker or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing dynamic and modern video content across various platforms.
• Expertise in professional camera operation (mirrorless, DSLR), lighting techniques (portable and studio), and advanced editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Proficiency in motion graphics and compositing (After Effects), basic audio post-production, and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
