📋 Description

• As a Finance & Accounting Werkstudent:in at Nelly Sweden AB in Berlin, you will support the finance team in daily operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and contributing to month-end closing processes in a fast-growing AI-driven health tech scale-up.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and recording incoming documents, performing pre-posting, maintaining GoBD-compliant archives, supporting the posting of income and expenses, bank and credit card reconciliations, travel expense reporting, and assisting with month-end close activities such as accruals, deferrals, and preparation of documents for auditors and tax advisors.
• You will join a mission-driven team at Nelly, which is building an AI-powered Financial Operating System for European healthcare to reduce administrative burden and enable medical professionals to focus on patient care, backed by over €50M in Series B funding from top-tier investors.
• In this role, you will deepen your practical accounting knowledge, improve your analytical and Excel skills, take ownership of real financial processes, and develop professionally in a high-talent-density environment that values initiative, learning, and impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken)
• Availability for 20 hours per week
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debit/credit, chart of accounts, tax fundamentals)
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for structured data handling
• Prior exposure to finance through internships, student work, or relevant coursework
