- • Finance Analyst at Scale Army supporting U.S.-based e-commerce and subscription clients during a critical growth phase ahead of fundraising, ensuring financial accuracy and strategic insight for leadership.
- • Maintain and enhance financial dashboards, transitioning from spreadsheets to Power BI, while analyzing revenue, margins, operating expenses, and unit economics to inform CFO decision-making.
- • Act as intermediary between CFO and accounting clerk by reviewing general ledger postings, identifying errors, resolving unclear entries, and performing first-pass month-end close reviews for accuracy.
- • Reconcile inventory entries in QuickBooks against manual counts, coordinate with external CPA partners, and pull/interpret Shopify reports to support financial analysis and subscription metric monitoring.
- • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling; prepare investor-facing financial reports in anticipation of fundraising initiatives.
- • Work fully remote with hours aligned to U.S. EST (9 AM - 5 PM), requiring availability during U.S. business hours to serve clients in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
- • Contribute to strengthening financial reporting infrastructure during a high-growth stage, gaining direct exposure to CFO-level strategy and fundraising preparation.
- • Develop expertise in financial analysis for e-commerce, DTC, and subscription businesses while improving process reliability and data-driven decision-making.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or related finance roles.
- • Experience using QuickBooks and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling.
- • Exposure to Power BI or similar dashboard tools.
- • Experience in CPG, e-commerce, DTC, or subscription-based businesses strongly preferred.
- • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment; familiarity with fundraising processes and investor reporting is a plus.
