  • • Solenis LLC, a global leader in specialty chemicals for water-intensive industries, is seeking a motivated Junior Finance Analyst for Procurement to join their dynamic team. This full-time, remote position based in Warsaw, Poland, offers a critical role in supporting the company's procurement operations through rigorous financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. As a key member of the finance department, you will be instrumental in providing actionable insights that drive efficiency and strategic decision-making within the procurement function.
  • • The primary focus of this role is to analyze procurement data, ensuring its accuracy and integrity. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated Excel-based reports, drawing data from various sources including Tableau dashboards and the SAC system. This involves a deep dive into procurement forecasts, meticulously identifying variances, and pinpointing the key drivers behind them. Your analytical prowess will be crucial in understanding deviations from planned expenditures and performance metrics.
  • • You will play a vital role in preparing both regular and ad-hoc financial and procurement analyses. These analyses are designed to provide essential support to Global and Regional Procurement Managers, equipping them with the data-driven insights needed to manage costs, optimize supplier relationships, and navigate market complexities. This includes a thorough review, validation, and interpretation of SAC outputs on a monthly basis, ensuring that all data is consistent, accurate, and reliable for strategic planning.
  • • A significant aspect of the role involves supporting scenario modeling and 'what-if' analyses. This means you will be tasked with assessing the financial implications of various procurement strategies and fluctuating feedstock prices. By simulating different market conditions and operational choices, you will help the procurement team understand potential risks and opportunities, enabling them to make more informed and resilient decisions.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing feedstock market trends. This requires staying abreast of global market dynamics, understanding price fluctuations, and incorporating these insights directly into your forecast and scenario analyses. Your ability to connect external market intelligence with internal financial data will be a key differentiator.
  • • Close collaboration with the HUB Data Team is essential to guarantee the quality, consistency, and correct interpretation of all provided datasets. You will act as a bridge between the raw data and its practical application in financial analysis, ensuring that the data used for decision-making is sound.
  • • The Junior Finance Analyst will actively participate in periodic calls and meetings with procurement stakeholders. These interactions are crucial for discussing forecast assumptions, presenting results, and addressing any data-related queries or challenges. Effective communication and the ability to explain complex financial information clearly are paramount.
  • • You will also contribute to the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of existing procurement and finance reporting solutions. This involves identifying areas for enhancement, suggesting new methodologies, and implementing updates to ensure that reporting tools remain efficient, effective, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • • This role is ideal for an individual with a strong academic background in finance or a related field, coupled with practical experience in financial analysis or procurement controlling. If you possess advanced Excel skills, experience with data visualization tools, and a keen analytical mind, you are encouraged to apply. The opportunity to work with a global leader in a hybrid work environment, with excellent benefits, makes this a compelling career move.
