📋 Description

• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes including generating customer invoices, applying payments in Maxio, and following up on overdue balances with clients.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records and timely collections.
• Process employee expense submissions via Ramp, including home office stipends, travel reimbursements, and other work-related costs.
• Prepare monthly compliance reports and quarterly investor updates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for financial stakeholders.
• Execute payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees, including calculation and disbursement of commission payments.
• Develop and maintain financial reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collections performance to support operational decision-making.
• Assist the CFO in building cash flow projections and modeling financial health scenarios to guide strategic planning.
• Write SQL queries to extract and transform data from production databases to generate actionable insights for internal teams.
• Design and maintain materialized views to enhance data accessibility and enable self-service reporting across departments.
• Document and standardize invoicing practices to accommodate unique customer contract requirements and improve billing consistency.
• Formalize contract renewal tracking systems to increase visibility into revenue pipelines and improve financial forecasting accuracy.
• Contribute to the development of departmental income statements and refine ARR tracking methodologies with improved documentation.
• Build dashboards to visualize financial metrics and deliver data-driven insights to non-finance teams.
• Maintain and improve internal finance and accounting processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer success, and engineering teams to align financial workflows with business needs.
• Ensure adherence to core accounting principles and internal controls across all financial transactions and reporting.
• Support the scaling of finance operations as the company grows, adapting systems and documentation to meet evolving demands.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
• Experience with accounting software such as Maxio, QuickBooks, and Ramp
• SQL or similar database query skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
