- • As the Finance and Accounting Manager at AppSamurai, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our financial strategy, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations across our international presence. This pivotal role reports directly to the Director of Finance and collaborates closely with a diverse range of departments including finance, legal, HR, operations, and sales, all with the shared goal of maximizing the value AppSamurai delivers to its clients and stakeholders.
- • You will be the go-to expert for legal and finance operations, demonstrating a top-level attention to detail that underpins our global financial health. - • Your core responsibilities will encompass overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and treasury. You will be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- • You will play a critical role in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. This includes developing financial models, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
- • Managing the month-end and year-end close processes will be a key duty, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial records are reconciled. This involves coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as necessary.
- • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax regulations in the jurisdictions where AppSamurai operates, including preparing and filing tax returns. This requires a strong understanding of international tax laws and best practices.
- • Developing and implementing robust internal controls and accounting policies will be essential to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. You will identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in financial management.
- • You will manage relationships with external auditors, providing them with the necessary information and support during audits. This includes preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating financial risks. You will assess financial risks and develop strategies to manage them effectively, ensuring the financial stability of the company.
- • You will contribute to the development and implementation of financial systems and processes, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. This may involve evaluating and implementing new accounting software or ERP systems.
- • You will be involved in treasury functions, including cash flow management, banking relationships, and foreign exchange management, ensuring optimal liquidity and financial resources.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and treasury functions.
- • Proven experience in managing month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- • Solid understanding of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in the US, UK, and Turkey.
- • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise, Xero) and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
- • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Turkish is a strong asset.
- • Experience in the technology sector, specifically adtech or martech, is a significant plus.
- • Multinational audit experience is considered a strong advantage.
