• • This is a critical, high-impact, hands-on role within the Finance department, with a primary focus on owning and scaling our financial processes, particularly in the areas of billing and revenue.
• • You will work in close collaboration with the Head of Finance, our outsourced accounting partners, and the Commercial teams, playing a pivotal role in shaping our financial infrastructure for significant future growth.

• • REVENUE & BILLING OPERATIONS:
• • Take ownership of the end-to-end billing processes, managing all aspects from invoice generation to payment reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across multiple markets and currencies.
• • Design, implement, and continuously optimize automated billing workflows, integrating our billing platform, ERP system, and payment gateways to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• • Develop and maintain robust billing procedures that are scalable and adaptable to Tandem Health's evolving business needs and international presence.
• • Proactively identify and address any discrepancies or issues within the billing cycle, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to our clients.
• • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure billing information is accurate and aligned with contractual agreements.
• • REVENUE RECOGNITION & REPORTING:
• • Manage deferred revenue, accruals, and perform meticulous reconciliations in strict accordance with Swedish GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• • Develop and generate essential financial reports related to revenue, Value Added Tax (VAT), and other key financial metrics, providing critical insights for strategic decision-making.
• • Play a key role in the monthly financial closing process, ensuring all revenue-related entries are accurate and timely.
• • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue recognition and billing.
• • Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards and regulations, particularly those impacting revenue recognition in the SaaS and healthcare technology sectors.
• • FINANCE OPERATIONS:
• • Leverage your financial expertise and keen interest in technology to contribute significantly to system implementation projects, ensuring our financial tools are optimized for current and future needs.
• • Provide essential support for daily ad-hoc financial tasks, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
