• • Redgate Software is seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Finance team, reporting directly to the FP&A Manager. This pivotal role is designed to provide essential financial and commercial insights, acting as a strategic partner to our Sales function. You will be instrumental in empowering Sales leadership with the data and analysis needed to make informed, impactful decisions, ultimately driving business growth and achieving organizational objectives.
• • In this capacity, you will take ownership of the budgeting and forecasting processes for your designated business areas, ensuring accuracy, alignment with strategic goals, and robust financial planning. You will also play a key role in preparing comprehensive reports for board-level review, offering clear and concise financial narratives that support executive decision-making. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the meticulous creation and ongoing maintenance of office-level Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring financial integrity and operational clarity.
• • The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in core business principles, with a proven ability to influence and effectively manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organization. You should be comfortable and confident in presenting financial information and engaging in constructive challenges with senior leadership, demonstrating both strategic thinking and a deep understanding of commercial dynamics.

• • A strong understanding of finance and accounting principles is essential, ideally backed by a full professional qualification such as CFA, ACA, CIMA, or an equivalent. This qualification will serve as a testament to your foundational knowledge and commitment to professional standards.
• • While not strictly required, previous experience with software-specific accounting policies, such as revenue recognition for licensing models, and familiarity with key software industry metrics like Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), and Net Revenue Retention (NRR) would be a significant advantage. Additionally, experience with financial and CRM tools such as NetSuite, Power BI, or Salesforce would further enhance your suitability for this role, enabling you to leverage these platforms for advanced analysis and reporting.
