📋 Description

• Ajax Systems, a leading international technology company and Europe's largest manufacturer of security systems, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Controller to join our dynamic Financial Controlling Team in Kyiv. • As a Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our financial processes. Your responsibilities will span across critical month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, demanding meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be instrumental in upholding the quality control of all financial transactions and reporting, ensuring they align with both internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
• A significant aspect of your role will involve ensuring that our financial accounting records are in strict compliance with the Group's accounting and controlling policies. This includes managing and verifying data within our primary financial systems, 1C and S/4 HANA. You will be responsible for the accurate reconciliation of management and financial reports, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly. This requires a deep understanding of financial data flows and reporting structures.
• Furthermore, you will actively support crucial reconciliation processes, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations. Your involvement in inventory stock-takes will ensure the accuracy of our asset valuations, and you will conduct intercompany reconciliations to maintain financial consistency across different entities within the Ajax group. These tasks are vital for maintaining operational transparency and financial health.
• You will also contribute significantly to the preparation of monthly consolidated management reporting. This involves gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing financial data from various sources to provide insightful reports to senior management, enabling informed decision-making. Your ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely will be highly valued.
• In addition to regular reporting, you will assist in the preparation and execution of both annual group and stand-alone audits. This requires close collaboration with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to ensure a smooth and successful audit process. Your expertise will help demonstrate the robustness of our financial controls and reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for experience as a Deputy Chief Accountant.
• At least 1 year of experience specifically in the role of a Financial Controller.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles and financial controlling practices.
• English language proficiency at an Intermediate level.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Experience in a large manufacturing company is considered a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills. Experience with 1C is required, and SAP knowledge is a strong plus.
