Finance Director

📋 Description

• • Lead and develop a growing finance function across multiple countries, overseeing external accounting partners and managing internal finance operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial controls.
• • Own and deliver regular reporting on key financial KPIs including ARR, user growth, and burn rate, ensuring leadership and investors receive actionable, data-driven insights.
• • Build, maintain, and refine FP&A models and historical financial data to support fundraising initiatives, board presentations, and strategic decision-making.
• • Design and implement scalable finance systems and processes to accommodate rapid team expansion and international growth, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
• • Partner cross-functionally with leadership teams in People, Operations, and Product to align financial planning with business objectives and growth priorities.
• • Provide financial leadership during a critical scaling phase, establishing the foundational structures for a long-term, scalable finance function.
• • Assess and improve existing financial processes quickly in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment, transitioning from ad-hoc systems to disciplined, repeatable workflows.
• • Translate complex financial data into clear, strategic narratives for non-finance stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
• • Support international finance operations including multi-country invoicing, tax compliance, and regional financial reporting requirements.
• • Collaborate with investors and external auditors to ensure accurate financial disclosures and readiness for fundraising rounds.
