- • As Finance Director at Beacon AI, you will own the end-to-end finance function for a fast-growing Series A startup building AI-powered aviation safety systems, translating strategy into financial plans that support pricing, market segmentation, and high-stakes decision-making for leadership.
- • You will build and maintain multi-year, multi-scenario financial models, own annual planning and rolling forecasts, manage budgeting and spend management with functional partners, and oversee external bookkeeping, accounting, and tax providers to ensure audit readiness and clean monthly reporting.
- • You will join a small, focused team of aviators, engineers, and operators operating without silos or heavy processes, where you’ll work directly with the CEO and leadership team to improve decision-making and support GTM strategy as the company scales.
- • You will develop expertise in startup finance leadership, gain ownership of financial narrative and investor-ready materials, and build pricing and unit economics models that directly impact deal profitability and market positioning.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–12+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, and/or finance leadership, with startup experience strongly preferred.
- • Expert-level financial modeling skills, including driver-based models, clean structure, fast iteration, and audit readiness.
- • Proven ability to own the full finance function while managing outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, and tax partners.
- • Experience building budgets and forecasts tied to hiring plans, delivery plans, and go-to-market motion.
- • Experience supporting pricing, packaging, and/or market segmentation work.
