- • As a Finance ERP and AI Technology Expert at Gartner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior finance leaders globally, providing strategic insights on cloud ERP transformation, AI integration, and finance technology strategy that directly impact business performance and digital modernization efforts.
- • You will conduct in-depth research, publish authoritative content, and engage with clients through virtual meetings, conferences, and sales support to help CFOs navigate complex ERP selection, implementation, and post-go-live optimization, ensuring alignment with financial goals and organizational readiness.
- • You will collaborate with a elite team of analysts in Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group to build best-in-class research and advisory content focused on finance function evolution, cloud ERP vendor evaluation, and the strategic use of embedded AI in financial systems.
- • You will stay at the forefront of finance technology trends, including AI-driven automation, cloud migration strategies, and vendor innovations, enabling you to deliver forward-looking, actionable advice that helps clients de-risk transformation and maximize ROI.
- • You will develop deep expertise in transactional finance processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets, and apply this knowledge to assess how technology impacts core accounting operations and financial close efficiency.
- • You will build and maintain trusted relationships with CFOs and finance executives by demonstrating executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic business recommendations.
- • You will contribute to Gartner’s mission of delivering objective, research-based insights that empower enterprise leaders to make informed decisions, leveraging the firm’s global reach and reputation as a leader in business and technology advisory.
- • You will grow your professional influence as a recognized thought leader in finance technology, with opportunities to speak at industry events, author influential research notes, and shape the future of finance function transformation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of experience in finance department roles or consulting roles leading large-scale cloud ERP projects focused on transforming finance and accounting processes.
- • Strong working knowledge of finance technology and cloud ERP software markets, including vendor AI capabilities, trends, and innovations impacting financial operations.
- • Proven experience working closely with CFOs and senior finance leaders to build buy-in for finance technology initiatives, including ERP upgrades, business case development, and roadmap execution on time and on budget.
- • Solid understanding of transactional finance and accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
- • Ability to conduct occasional regional and global travel as needed for client engagements and internal collaboration.
