- • As a Finance Expert - Corporate Finance at xAI Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to build AI systems that understand the universe by providing high-fidelity, real-world corporate finance data to train and refine cutting-edge AI models. Your expertise will directly influence how AI interprets complex financial decision-making, bridging the gap between human financial acumen and machine learning capabilities in a mission-driven, innovation-focused environment.
- • You will use proprietary annotation tools to label and structure precise inputs for corporate finance AI training, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, capital structure decisions, investor communications, earnings call preparation, M&A strategy, integration planning, synergy modeling, capital raising, and treasury management scenarios—ensuring the AI learns from authentic, nuanced financial contexts.
- • Collaborate closely with xAI’s technical teams to design, test, and refine annotation workflows and tools tailored to corporate finance use cases, contributing to the development of intuitive interfaces and scalable processes that improve data quality and model performance.
- • Analyze and decompose complex corporate finance problems drawn from your professional experience—such as deal structuring, financial forecasting under uncertainty, or investor communication strategies—to create realistic, high-fidelity training examples that challenge and improve the AI’s reasoning capabilities.
- • Maintain rigorous standards of accuracy, consistency, and adaptability in your work, executing tasks with precision while remaining agile to evolving project requirements, annotation guidelines, and model feedback loops.
- • Mentor and support knowledge sharing within the team by drawing on your background in corporate finance to guide best practices in financial modeling, forecasting, and investor relations, helping elevate the collective expertise of the annotation team.

🎯 Requirements
- • Professional experience in corporate finance roles such as CFO, Corporate Development (M&A, strategy, integrations), FP&A, Investor Relations, Treasury, or similar positions at public or large private companies.
- • Strong command of written and spoken English (both informal and professional), with excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- • Superior reading comprehension and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment when working with incomplete or ambiguous information.
- • Genuine interest in technological innovation and its application to corporate finance, including a willingness to engage with AI, machine learning, or data annotation workflows.
- • Comfort recording audio or video sessions for data collection purposes, and experience mentoring or training junior team members in corporate finance practices such as financial modeling, forecasting, or deal execution.
- • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or equivalent finance credentials) are preferred but not required.
