- • As a Finance Expert - Equity Research at xAI Corporation, you will serve as an in-house subject matter expert, leveraging your deep expertise in capital markets, financial modeling, and investment research to create high-fidelity training data that enables AI models to understand and replicate institutional-grade equity analysis. Your work will directly contribute to advancing frontier AI systems designed to comprehend complex financial concepts and support humanity’s pursuit of knowledge through accurate, real-world simulations.
- • Day to day, you will use proprietary software to deliver precise inputs, labels, and annotations for equity research projects; create and curate realistic, high-fidelity scenarios involving sector and company analysis, financial modeling (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions), valuation methodologies, earnings forecasts, and investment thesis development; develop detailed examples of coverage initiation, earnings analysis, estimate revisions, and industry-specific data analysis; partner with technical teams to support the development of new AI tasks and innovative tooling; help design and refine efficient annotation tools tailored to equity research workflows; and identify, analyze, and break down complex investment problems to improve model performance while maintaining accuracy and adapting to evolving requirements.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in sell-side or buy-side equity research with demonstrated sector coverage responsibility
- • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions), and financial statement analysis
- • Strong command of written and spoken English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and superior reading comprehension with ability to exercise sound independent judgment amid ambiguity
