- • Finance Expert - Fixed Income role at xAI Corporation is critical for advancing AI systems that understand complex financial markets, directly supporting the company’s mission to create AI that accurately models the universe by providing domain-specific, high-quality data inputs for fixed income model training.
- • The person will work remotely to annotate, label, and curate fixed income market data using proprietary tools, collaborate with engineers to refine AI training workflows, and apply deep expertise in bond trading, yield curves, credit analysis, and FICC markets to improve model accuracy and real-world relevance.

- • Utilize proprietary software to provide accurate input and labels for fixed income projects, ensuring high-quality data for AI model training across government bonds, corporate debt, interest rate derivatives, and securitized products.
- • Deliver curated, high-quality data for complex scenarios including bond valuation, credit spread analysis, yield curve construction, portfolio hedging strategies, duration and convexity management, and relative value trading in FICC markets.
- • Collaborate with technical staff to support the training of new AI tasks, refine annotation methodologies, and contribute to the design of innovative tools that capture nuanced fixed income market behaviors.
- • Assist in designing and improving efficient annotation tools tailored for fixed income data, ensuring workflows align with industry practices and technical requirements for scalable AI training.
- • Select and analyze complex fixed income problems — such as arbitrage opportunities, stress testing scenarios, or macroeconomic impacts on credit — to enhance AI model performance and generalization.
- • Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on evolving project instructions with precision, adaptability, and strong judgment, often working autonomously with limited supervision.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional experience in fixed income markets or related fields such as FICC research, fixed income trading, portfolio management, credit analysis, or quantitative analysis focused on rates, credit, or securitized products.
- • Proficiency in reading and writing informal and professional English, with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- • Passion for technological advancements and innovation in fixed income markets, combined with the ability to exercise autonomous judgment and adapt to evolving instructions.
