- • As a Quantitative Finance Expert at xAI Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to create AI systems that understand the universe by providing high-quality, domain-specific input and labels for training cutting-edge AI models. Your expertise in quantitative finance will directly enhance model performance in complex areas such as algorithmic investment strategies, portfolio optimization, and derivatives pricing, ensuring that xAI’s technologies are grounded in real-world financial rigor and innovation.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include using proprietary software to label and annotate text, voice, and video data related to quantitative finance; collaborating closely with technical teams to refine annotation tools and improve data curation processes; selecting and solving complex problems from domains like high-frequency trading backtests, financial modeling, and risk analysis; interpreting evolving instructions to execute tasks with precision; and contributing to the training of new AI tasks by providing rigorous solutions and model critiques that reflect deep financial insight.

🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s or PhD in a quantitative finance-related field (e.g., Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics with quantitative focus) or equivalent professional experience as a quantitative trader or analyst.
- • Proficiency in reading and writing in both informal and professional English, with strong comprehension skills and the ability to exercise autonomous judgment when working with limited data or materials.
- • Strong ability to navigate financial information resources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, SEC filings, and other databases, combined with outstanding communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
