- • As a Finance Risk Expert at xAI Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge AI systems by providing expert financial risk annotations, evaluations, and reasoning that directly train and refine frontier AI models to understand complex financial uncertainties, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies—ensuring AI systems can reason like top-tier risk professionals in real-world scenarios.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include using proprietary annotation tools to deliver precise labels, rankings, and critiques on financial risk projects; producing high-quality curated data aligned with quantitative and regulatory standards; collaborating with engineers and researchers to design new training tasks and risk-specific benchmarks; providing feedback to improve annotation tools; selecting and solving complex problems in market risk (VaR/ES, Monte Carlo simulation), credit risk (PD/LGD/EAD, CVA/DVA), liquidity risk (LCR/NSFR), operational/model risk, stress testing (CCAR/DFAST, ICAAP), risk attribution, economic/regulatory capital, and ESG risk integration; delivering rigorous critiques of model outputs with mathematical derivations and sensitivity analyses; and interpreting evolving instructions to execute tasks efficiently across text, voice, and video modalities.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in applying frontier AI to financial risk domains, gain experience in AI training data generation across multimodal formats (text, audio, video), contribute to scientific discovery in complex system reasoning, and develop skills in translating sophisticated risk methodologies into teachable signals for AI—positioning you at the intersection of quantitative finance and next-generation AI innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Risk Management, Operations Research, Physics, or Computer Science (with risk/finance focus), or equivalent professional experience as a quantitative risk analyst, risk modeler, or risk quant.
- • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with ability to produce technical reports, regulatory documentation, and clear explanatory breakdowns of complex risk concepts.
- • Strong familiarity with financial risk data sources and platforms including Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Moody’s Analytics, S&P Capital IQ, RiskMetrics, internal bank risk systems, regulatory filings, and Basel/FRB datasets.
